Coronavirus (COVID-19)

How to keep fit and healthy until the madness is over

broken image

We are all out of routine, or have had to alter our routines. When this happens, focus on exercise and diet usually suffers.

Who knows how long isolation will continue for....1 month, 2 months...?

Gyms and other training facilities are shut, equipment at parks is banned and gym equipment for home is really tough to get hold of due to popular demand. Not to mention, its actually quite tough to motivate yourself to train at home.

But this situation has resulted in so many of us finding other ways to go about things - work, managing kids, seeing family and friends, eating healthy and exercising.

Online socializing and exercising was completely foreign to me and I must admit I was hesitant to do it at first, but now, Immortal has developed a fantastic little online community and our clients are able to continue to train from home.

Some of my clients also had their reservations - I dont have an appropriate space, I dont have any equipment, online exercise isnt for me, im not tech savvy....

All I can say, is please dont let any of those things stop you!

You are missing out on a great way to stay connected to your trainer, get a 1 hour solid training session in and help yourself stay healthy and fit in body and mind.

I have been running 5 sessions per week and they have been so fun and the content I have been coming up with will see my clients return to the gym (when the time comes to open again) functionally strong and fit, mobile and mentally in a much better place.

I think its surprised a lot of my clients how challenging it can be and how much can be done with your own body and even 1 db or a brick, shovel, tin of baked beans, pot plant, car jack gas bottle, bag filled with books and other crazy things my clients have been using.

Please get online and join your favourite yoga class or personal training session and if youd like to give my sessions a go, please contact me on 0417383119.

Sessions are every:

Monday 7am

Monday 6pm

Wednesday 6pm

Wednesday 7.30pm

Saturday 9.30am
